South Bohemian Stonehenge
The Holašovice Circle – also known as the South Bohemian Stonehenge – is a megalithic structure created in 2008 by local builder Václav Jílek from massive granite stones. It is said to possess the strongest energy of any man-made megalithic site in the Czech Republic.
Legend has it that it can draw negative energy out of your body and replenish you with positive energy. Interestingly, all the stones were sourced within 15 km of Holašovice – they are part of the local landscape and carry its energy.
According to dowsers and psychotronic researchers, the 23 granite stones generate a new energy that is synergistically amplified. The elements in the 30-meter-wide circle interact with each other. The most suitable stone for meditation is said to be a massive 19-ton menhir near the circle, locally known as “Skála” (“the Rock”).
